Midwifery

Antenatal clinics are run by the midwives on a Wednesday all day and Friday afternoons. If you are pregnant or you have any pregnancy related problems the Midwives will be happy to see you. 

To be referred to the midwife, please ring our surgery or attend reception.

Routine Antenatal Care

To make your appointment, either call in at Reception or telephone . Midwives prefer to see you as early in your pregnancy as is possible, ideally before eight weeks from your last period. If you have already ‘booked in’ with your midwife and need advice, please contact her on the number she will have given you.

If you are unable to contact her for any reason, you should telephone one of the following Rotherham Hospital numbers for advice:

Family Planning/Pregnancy Advice

Advice is available from the Practice Nurse  and the doctors. Please remember that all requests are treated in the strictest confidence, so do not be afraid to speak to one of our health professionals.
